Dave Rodgers Memorial Cup

Saturday, September 24th, 2022 (Rain Date Sunday, September 25, 2022)

2 pm – Skippers’ Brief on the shelter deck

3-3:15 pm – Race begins (staggered starts for smaller boats)

5 pm – Presentations and prizes

~6 pm – Sail Burgers & Power Sausages ($5 per person)

~8 pm – Sunset Social & Campfire – BYOB

Notes about the event:

• The race start time will be one hour later than previously announced—Race start time is 3 pm instead of 2pm.  Skipper’s brief on the deck will therefore take place at 2pm. 
• Having a power boater on board during the race is encouraged, but not mandatory.
• Raymond Touchette is taking care of race registrations—please email him at rtouchette@hotmail.com if you would like to register. The race registration deadline is 8pm on Wednesday September 21.
• A reminder to please reserve your BBQ tickets in advance by email (director_pa@ryc.ca) by Thursday September 22. Please include the size of your party and any dietary restrictions; your response greatly helps with planning. Each $5 BBQ ticket includes a hamburger, a sausage, and potato salad; cash will be collected at the door on the day of the race. As always we are happy to accommodate gluten-free and/or plant-based members upon request.
